New Delhi: Indian automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has informed that it has recorded the best sales for its most popular Bolero SUV in the last financial year. The company has sold more than 1 lakh vehicles of this model in the last financial year 2022-23.
Present in the market since the year 2000
Mahindra launched this SUV in the country in the year 2000. More than 14 lakh units of this car have been sold till now after so many years. Its Neo model, launched in the year 2021, is also performing very well in the market. Young customers are liking it the most. This SUV is the best selling model for Mahindra.

In the financial year 2023, the company has sold a total of 1,00,577 units of this SUV. It ranked 7th in the top 30 best selling vehicles of India. Which gives tough competition to other cars in the segment. Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “With over 1.4 million total sales till date, this SUV is more than a car. It is quite popular in the urban and rural areas of the country. Sales of 1 lakh units in FY 2023 shows the trust that customers have in us. Launched in July 2021, the Bolero Neo is very popular in Tier 1 and urban markets and is attracting new customers.”
Powertrain
Mahindra Bolero gets a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder mHawk diesel engine, which produces power and 76 HP. This SUV is also used in the police and army. This sales figure includes both the models of this SUV. The ex-showroom price of this SUV is between Rs 9.92 lakh to Rs 11.03 lakh.
Competes with Kia Seltos
This car competes with cars like Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta. The car gets the option of both petrol and diesel engines, but these are only available in the 5 seater option.
