New Delhi: Indian automaker Mahindra has introduced a new variant of its premium luxury SUV Alturas G4. The company has called it 2WD High. The price of this new SUV is around Rs 1.20 lakh less than its current 4WD variant. Let’s know what is the specialty of this SUV.
Features of Mahindra Alturas G4 2WD
The G4 2WD gets a 360-degree camera, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, nine airbags, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, support for Apple Car-Play and Android Auto Many features like LED fog lights, tinted glass with cornering function, HID headlamps, electric sunroof, TPMS, ambient lighting, cruise control, LED tail lights, LED DRLs have been provided.
Engine of Alturas G4 2WD
The new Alturas G4 2WD is powered by a 2.2-L diesel engine that produces 178 Bhp of power and 420 Nm of peak torque. This engine has been supported with 7-speed automatic transmission.
Price
The Alturas G4 2WD is Rs 1.20 lakh cheaper than its 4WD variant. This variant only lacks a four-wheel-drive system except that everything else is 4WD. The Alturas G4 4WD variant is priced at Rs 31.88 lakh ex-showroom, while the new 2WD variant is available at Rs 30.68 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra is currently paying more attention to its electric cars. More recently, the company has introduced its XUV 400 electric SUV. Also, the electric version of Mahindra XUV 700 was soon spotted during testing.
