The Mahindra Thar 5-Door will come with a panoramic sunroof for the first time. Unlike the standard electric sunroof, this panoramic roof stretches from the front to the back of the car, providing a better view and more light. The car will also include an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which uses sensors to alert the driver if something or someone gets too close. This system provides both audio and visual warnings to help avoid accidents.

The Thar currently offers engine options of 1497 and 2184 cc. The new model is expected to include a third engine option with over 2 liters of power. It will come with choices of petrol, diesel, and turbo engines. The new Thar will feature circular LED headlights, C-shaped LED DRLs, and sporty alloy wheels. It is anticipated to reach a top speed of 155 km/h.
