BMW Motorrad is going to increase its prices for all models with effect from January 2025. The prices for all of their motorcycles will see a hike of 2.5 per-cent. This hike aims to increase profitability due to rising material costs and inflation.
BMW motorrad is the motorcycle division of the German luxury manufacturer BMW. The hike was earlier announced for their cars, now followed by their bikes. BMW is brand known for its performance, quality and experience. According to BMW, this move is announced to maintain the similar quality standards and profitability.

BMW Motorrad began its operations in India back in April 2017 as part of BMW group Indian subsidiary. Through its partnership with TVS Motor Company, it started manufacturing four motorcycles: BMW G 310 R, BMW G 310 GS and BMW G 310 RR. Apart from this, the company has a very big line-up of the CBU units such as the S1000 RR, S1000R, R 1300 GS, F 900 GS and F 900 GSA.
BMW’s touring range in India include BMW R 1250 RT, BMW K 1600 B, BMW K 1600 GTL and BMW K 1600 GA. The Company also sells their most eye-catching R18 Transcontinental and R12 motorcycles. The Brand also imports two of its scooters in India: the C400 GT and the all electric CE 04. However their sports touring range include S 1000 XR, F 900 XR and M 1000 XR.
BMW India announced a hike of around 3% for their cars with effect from January 2025, following by which Mercedes-Benz India also plans to increase their prices upto 3% by January 1, 2025.
