MARUTI EECO
Maruti Eeco is the cheapest 7 seater family car in the country. The van has a basic design and interior that now appears dated. Under the hood of the model is a 1.2-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with a power of 73 horsepower and a torque of 101 Nm. The engine returns a stated output of 73 hp and a torque of 101 Nm.
Its mileage is 16.11 km/l. The van also comes with a CNG engine that promises a fuel efficiency of 21.8 bhp. RENAULT TRIBER
Based on the CMF-A+ platform, the Renault Triber is one of the most affordable seven-seater family cars in the country. Currently, the model range is available in 10 variants priced between Rs 5.92 lakh and Rs 8.51 lakh. The three-row MPV is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine with 72 hp and 96 Nm.
There is a manual transmission and an AMT transmission to choose from. Its manual version is said to reach 20 km/l. Its key features include an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, digital instrument panel, keyless entry, cooled center console, AC vents in all three rows, rear parking camera and more. MARUTI ERTIGA
Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling Ertiga MPV got a facelift earlier this year. The MPV comes with a 1.5L petrol engine boosted with Dualjet technology and a mild hybrid system.
Its power and torque are 103 hp and 136.8 Nm. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The automaker claims that its manual and automatic versions deliver fuel consumption of 20.51 kmpl and 20.30 kmpl respectively.
Currently, Ertiga prices start from Rs 8.41 lakh and go up to Rs 12.72 lakh. Apart from the top-of-the-line ZXi+ AT variant, you can get all its variants for Rs 12 lakh.

MAHINDRA BOLERO NEO
Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the Bolero Neo in June 2021, which is essentially an updated TUV300. The SUV has been offered in four variants – N4, N8, N10 and N10 (O) which are currently available in a price range of Rs 9.29 lakh to Rs 11.78 lakh.
Under the hood, the SUV uses a 1.5L, 3-cylinder diesel engine that is good for 100bhp and 260Nm. Both manual and AMT transmissions are available. It is based on the third-generation ladder-frame chassis and is equipped with features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, steering wheel audio controls, climate control with Eco mode and a height-adjustable driver’s seat.

MAHINDRA BOLERO
The Mahindra Bolero SUV range is available in B4, B6 and B6 Opt variants priced at Rs 9.53 lakh, Rs 10 lakh and Rs 10.48 lakh respectively. It can be had in three monotone color schemes – Lakeside Brown, Diamond White and Mist Silver. It uses a 1.5L mHawk diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission to power the SUV.
The engine provides the required power of 75 hp and a torque of 210 Nm. The SUV comes with a RWD system. The company will soon introduce the Bolero with the new Twin Peaks logo. The latest spy shots suggest that it might get new two-tone colors as well.

KIA CARENS
Currently, the Kia Carens MPV is available in 19 variants priced between Rs 9.60 lakh and Rs 11.40 lakh. With a budget of 12 lakh rupees, you can get Premium petrol, Prestige petrol, Premium Turbo petrol and Premium diesel.
The MPV comes with three engines – a 115PS 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, a 140PS 1.4L turbo petrol and a 115PS 1.5L diesel. All three engines can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission. An automatic transmission is available with turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines. Kia claims that the petrol Carens offers a range of up to 16.5 kmpl and its diesel version delivers 21.5 kmpl.

MARUTI XL6
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 will witness a mid-life update in April 2022. The updated version of the MPV comes with a new 1.5L Dualjet petrol engine enhanced with start-stop technology. The petrol unit provides the highest power of 103 hp and a torque of 136.8 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
The MPV offers a claimed fuel economy of 20.51 kmpl with the manual transmission and 20.30 kmpl with the automatic unit. The new XL6 is packed with features such as a 360-degree camera, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Studio, Head-Up Display, built-in Suzuki Connect telematics, ventilated seats and a tire pressure monitoring system.

MAHINDRA SCORPIO CLASSIC
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic was recently launched in two variants S and S11 priced at Rs 11.99 crore and Rs 15.49 crore respectively. It is one of the most affordable 7 seater family cars currently on sale in India.
The model is offered in three seating configurations – 7-seater with middle-row captain’s seats and third-row bench, 7-seater with second-row bench and two third-row jump seats, and 9-seater with middle-row bench and rear jump seats.
The new Scorpio Classic is powered by an updated 2.2L Gen 2mHawk turbodiesel that produces 132bhp and 300Nm. Compared to the previous model, the new one is 55 kg lighter and 14 percent more economical.
