In a recent report Lexus India has announced that they would be initiating the bookings for the new Lx 500D. The Luxury SUV, designed for both urban and off road performance. The vehicle was recently showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. 

The Lx 500d is the flagship SUV from Lexus’s clan, The vehicle is known for its advanced technology along with its off road capabilities. The Car features Lexus’s new safety system+3 connected  car functions to enhance the safety of the users. Lexus has a profound aim to offer sustainable mobility to all and such vehicles follow all the necessary protocols to be a part of the same. 

Lexus began its automotive adventure in 1989, and began its journey in India in the year 2017.  The brand has gained recognition for its Hybrid Electronic Technologies and premium craftsmanship.  Details of the LX500d and booking process would be announced soon. 

Unique Features Of The Lx500d

The Lx500d features a bold design along with a powerful diesel engine  and refined interior. The car further has Lexus Safety Features  and connected car features for enhanced safety and convenience. The car has been purposefully designed to provide users with an opulent vehicle that can easily handle rugged terrains. 

Hybrid Electric powertrains have become prime focus for the brand as a significant portion of their range has vehicles that are powered by Hybrid systems. Lexus has always been an extension of Toyota that was meant for luxury vehicle that have the capability RTO drive over rugged terrains. Toyota is seemingly planning to expand their luxury car line up in India, as in a recent news it was also witnessed that the new Land Cruiser Prado’s were also seen being delivered in India.

Prado To Be Toyota’s Next Toyota CBU Import in India

The Prado was spotted being transported in India as per a new video in which the car was spotted by @Pandit-Help in India while being transported. He reveals that the car would be running on new 265/60r20 tires. Beyond that the car would have 4 parking sensors behind along with 360 Degree cameras. The videos have given us sneak peak at best at what could be the next possible CBU import route launch for Toyota. With the Vellfire as well as the Lc300 doing rather well in India The brand has possible thought of adding to their line up a new addition which would be the new Prado.

The possible launch had been talked about previously as well. The car is expected to launch in the second half of the 2025 season, the SUV made its global appearance last year and would possibly be introduced soon in the international markets slowly.

New Launch To Place Prado Under LC 300

The Land Cruiser Prado is also sold under the moniker of Land Cruiser 250 in certain markets. For India The car would maintain a the moniker of land cruiser Prado. The car is based on a ladder frame chassis and as per the new details the new chassis would supposedly be 50% more lighter than that of its predecessor. Beyond that the car would be made about 30% stiffer.

New Dynamics’

The car is slightly bigger than the older version and beyond more room the car incorporates more driver aids and features. The car has multi zone climate control, and a lot of the switch gear has been shared with other models in the line up. Its possible that the Prado might be the next launch in the Toyota Lineup and would be unveiled as a possible Cbu Import unit soon.
