KTM Duke: KTM India, a sports bike-selling company, launched the new 2023 KTM Duke 125 and KTM Duke 200 in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for the updated Duke 200 model will be Rs 1.96 lakh.
The LED headlamp of the new bike is taken from the Duke 390 model. It will give a new experience as it will have a set of 32 LEDs along with 6 reflectors for the beam.
The design of the headlamp unit is inspired by the headlamp found on the 1290 Super Duke R. The motorcycle will also get an LCD digital instrument cluster.
Customers will have two color options to buy Duke 200- Electronic Orange and Metallic Silver. The new Duke will compete with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and the Suzuki Gixxer 250 in the Indian sports bike market.
KTM Duke 200 will get the same 199.5cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as before. It generates 24.68 bhp power at 10,000 rpm and 19.3 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine has been prepared according to OBD2 norms. That is, it will also support E20 fuel. E20 fuel costs less than petrol. It contains 80% petrol and 20% ethanol.
The bike will have 43mm USD forks at the front and a 10-step adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear. Both the suspension components are from WP Apex. There is a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear. It also gets dual-channel ABS along with single-channel ABS.
