KTM has shared its plans to launch the all-new Enduro R in India On April 11. The Enduro R would be a off-road-focused motorcycle that would share most of its chassis and powertrain with that of the new 390 adventure. Beyond that the new bike would have an adjustable suspension with 21/18- inch wheels as standard.
Engine Specs For The New Enduro R
The KTM 390 Enduro would be powered by the familiar 399 cc single -cylinder engine making the same 46hp and 39 Nm of peak torque similar to that of the Duke and the Adventure model.The suspension components such as the main frame and swingarm would be shared with the latest generation 390 adventure. In line with its off-road orientation . The Enduro R has a smaller 285 mm front disc brake, mated to the same 240mm rear brake disc as seen on the adventure.
Suspension
While the suspension on the international variants is different, it is possible that the Indian version of the Enduro R would have the same suspension as that of the 390 Adventure. This equates to a 200mm front suspension travel and close to about 205mm rear suspension travel. The seat height of the bike would be anywhere around 860mm below the towering 890 mm seat height variant that is sold internationally. The ground clearance of the domestic version would be around 253mm from the 272 mm seen on the international variant.
The Enduro would probably find its place in the lineup between the 390 adventure X and the 390 Adventure when it is launched in India.
