KTM has officially announced that they would be launching the new iteration of their 390 adventure. Including the 390 adventure the Indian adventure tourer market would get the addition of a few more adventure tourers in the recent future.
The new adventure 390 would be a formidable entrant that would help the manufacturer become a formidable choice in the market.
KTM’s Line up
The adventure 390 is just the start the brand would soon launch the KTM Enduro that was showcased at the IBW Goa. The 390 adventure S, would be a successor to the popular current 390 adventure. The new iteration would feature significant updates and the Enduro r would be a dedicated line up for the Indian market.
Key Changes Of The New 390 Adventure
The KTM Adventure 390 would get a few updates above the older generation. This would include a 373 cc liquid cooled engine that would produce about 45 hp and 40 nm of peak torque. Beyond that the bike would have the same 6 speed gearbox, a 21 inch front and a 17 inch rear wire spoked wheel. The vehicle has a overall new design with a new fairing that extends till the tank and a completely new fascia. KTM would be launching a few variants that would include the s variant as well as the R variant, ensuring that it caters to a wide set of audiences of adventure enthusiasts.
Enduro R Line Up: A True Off Roader
The 390 Enduro R would be a dedicated machine that has been purposefully built for the rugged terrain. Its features a fully adjustable suspension and a 21 inch tire upfront along with a 18 inch tire on rear. This hardcore off roader has been designed for challenging trails and hence this would be a unique offering in KTM’s Lineup.
Hero Xpulse 421
Hero would soon bring a new Xpulse 421 that would be sold in the overseas market as well. The bike would be a new offering to customers who seek a more powerful adventure tourer for the Indian roads. Its possible that the bike might have about 24.31 Ps of power along with 32 nm of peak torque.
Himalayan 750
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been under development for some time and would soon be possibly launched by Royal Enfield in the future. The bike would be Royal Enfield bid at offering a mid sized adventure tourer that would help the brand gain a foothold in the international markets. The bike has been spotted being used by several spotters in southern Europe as well as other places.
