Komaki Electric has expanded its portfolio in the electric scooter segment with the recent launch of its latest models – the X-ONE Prime and the X-One Ace. What makes these electric scooters potential competitors in the growing segment is their impressive features, range and attractive pricing. Here is all you need to know about the Komaki X-ONE Prime and Ace Electric Scooters:
Komaki X-ONE Prime And Ace Electric Scooters: Battery
To prevent breakdowns, the company offers regenerative braking and an auto-repair feature for both the models. The Prime and Ace models come with 2–2.2 KWH batteries than can be charged within 4-5 hours. The scooters offer a range of 100+ to 150+ km on a single charge but it depends on the model. Advanced lithium battery technology ensures significant energy storage.
Impressive Features
The two electric scooters boast a sleek design and offer impressive safety features like self-diagnosis and wirelessly updatable functionalities. These models will be available across Komaki’s 500 stores. The Komaki X-ONE Prime and Ace electric scooters offer extended range and fast charging, thanks to the advanced technology.
Attractive Pricing
The Prime is priced at Rs 49,999, while the Ace costs Rs 59,999. The new models come with full accessorisation and after-sales services. The company is also offering a 3-year warranty on the battery, controller and motor, starting with a low-speed variant which costs INR 45,999.
“Understanding that customers eagerly await the festive season to avail exciting discounts, the offers by Komaki will support increased EV adoption on account of reduction in price points. We are optimistic that the offer will give the desired thrust to the purchase of the model and, at the same time, provide an end-to-end purchasing solution to the customers. Moreover, with the rising awareness around EVs, Komaki is committed to supporting the thriving market by innovating with the latest technologies and models to fulfill the demand projected in the market,” Gunjan Malhotra, Director of Komaki Electric Division, was quoted as saying by the Economic Times.
Komaki X-ONE Prime, Ace Electric Scooters: What Is Self-Repairing Feature And How It Works?
The self-repairing feature allows the scooter to automatically address minor issues or recalibrate certain systems when faults are detected. While it may not resolve major problems, it can make temporary adjustments to ensure safe riding and prevent further damage. This combination of self-diagnosis and self-repair minimizes maintenance needs and enhances the scooter’s overall reliability.
The Komaki electric scooter is India’s first self-repairing two-wheeler. Explaining the self-diagnosis switch, Gunjan Malhotra told Express Drives earlier this year: “This switch temporarily repairs any electric failure detected by self-diagnosis which allows the passenger to not be stranded. The scooter runs at speed of 20kmph after repair mode is activated. He/she can reach his home or the company workshop.”
