KIA Syros Variants Explained, Which One Is The Best For You

The new KIA Syros has been unveiled , Bookings to open soon in January 2024. Here's a comprehensive variant breakdown.

KIA has again, gained its passage into the to be headlines with its new entrant the KIA Syros in the Indian market. The new Compact SUV has been making all the news since its unveil recently. The unconventional design of the new car makes it one of the most futuristic looking vehicle in its segment.  As of yet its believed that the KIA Syros would be placed in between the Sonet as well as the Seltos, and would be a formidable choice for users who want a balanced amalgam of style and  practicality.

The Syros is supposed to be better SUV than the already available Sonet with enhanced rear legroom and ADAS level 2 safety features, while the Sonet only had 1st level ADAS, safety features.  The prices of the vehicle are to be revealed soon as the official bookings for the car would being on January 3rd 2025.

KIA Syros HTK (o)

This variant of the vehicle would come equipped with an electric sunroof, 16 inch Diamond cut alloy wheels ( only in the diesel model), Roof Rails, Auto Folding Power Mirrors, Passenger Side Seat Back pocket.

KIA Syros HTK +

This would be the primary variant in the whole line up to be offered with a 1.0 liter GDI turbocharged petrol engine. Some of the other stand out features would include Dual Pane Panoramic sunroof blue and grey dual tone upholstery and 16 inch alloy wheels as standard.

If you go with the 1.0 litre At version of the vehicle you would get rear seat reclining facility, electric parking brakes, follow me home lights and Buttons start.

KIA Syros HTX

As we move up the KIA variant hierarchy, new features such as a leather wrapped steering wheel, gear knob would become standard. Besides that you would also get LED head lamps and backlights. With this trim level you would also get ventilated seats one touch operations for all windows, and beyond that paddle shifters for models with automatic transmission model as well.

KIA Syros HTX+

With the HTX + model you would get 17 inch alloy wheels, puddle lamps, dual tone interior, Ambient lighting, Digital Instrument Cluster, Climate Control, Harman Kardon Sound System, Inbuilt Air Purifier, Dash Camera. Beyond that the vehicle in this variant would also get wireless charging, Automatic IRVM, Rear Disc Brakes as well as Rear Ventilation Seats. The diesel models would get a 6 speed automatic transmission and  the petrol would be available with a 7 speed DCT only in the HTX+ as well as the HTX+(O) versions.

KIA Syros HTX+O

This would be the priciest variant of them all and would have all the features available across the variants included. This variant would also come with a 360 degree cameras as well as a level 2-ADAS safety features over the previous model.

Expected Pricing

As of yet the official pricing has not been revealed but the car is expected to have a pricing range of about 10 to 16 lakh Rs. It would go against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Suzuki Brezza, Toyota Taisor as well as the Honda Elevate.
