New Delhi: The new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift was first spotted testing in June 2022. Due to which some minor changes and feature upgrades were reported in it. Although the company has not yet disclosed the launch of this model in India. The SUV was once again spied testing in Hyderabad recently. This car was completely covered. In which updated taillamps were seen with an LED light bar and a clean rear bumper. The design of the new Seltos seems to be inspired by the new Sportage and Telluride SUVs, which are sold in the global market.
How did you look
The spy pictures of the facelifted Seltos show a new grille and headlamps with angled signature, and LED DRLs spread across the grille. There’s also a prominent air dam surrounded by faux aluminum skid plates and “ice cube” foglamps. The side profile gets new alloy wheels and it also gets a panoramic sunroof. Customers will get three color options like Wallace Green, Pluton Blue and Fusion Black in this car.

Features update
Talking about the features, the biggest upgrade in this car will be seen in the form of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which will include features like Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Collision Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Steering Assist, Speed Limit Assist. However, the design of its dashboard will be the same as the current model. But a curved screen will be given in it. The new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will see many more feature updates including a 360-degree camera.
What will the powertrain be like?
Talking about the powertrain in the updated Seltos, it will get a new 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which will be capable of generating 158bhp power and 260 Nm torque. This new gasoline unit will replace the existing 1.4L turbo petrol motor. While the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options will continue to be available in the lineup. For transmission, it will be given the option of 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic torque converter and 7-speed DCT automatic unit.

Will compete with the Hyundai Creta facelift
This car will compete with Hyundai’s upcoming Creta facelift, in which the existing engine will be retained, but it will see a lot of new features along with many cosmetic updates.
