New Features For The Next generation KIA Carens
The New car would get significant updates that could be over from the new Kia Syros. The Syros would receive many new updates such as Level 2 ADAS functionalities along with new features such as rear ventilated seats as well as other updates such as rear seal recline and movement.

Cockpit Experience would include enhanced entertainment features that could be borrowed from the KIA Syros. For Example the new car can possible have a trinity panoramic display and a 12.3 inch HD Touchscreen and automatic air conditioner control as well.
Powertrain Options
While the International variants are being rumored to be powered by a Hybrid technology, its possible that the new variants in India could be powered by a Hybrid powertrain if Kia Decides to launch it before the next gen Carens launches. The Car would be powered by a 1.5 liter turbo petrol unit that generates around 160 PS of power and about 253 Nm of peak torque in petrol variants.
The Transmission Options
As of yet it appears that the car might be paired with a 6 speed IMT and 7 speed Dct that are available as of now with the current models. The Diesel Unit would produce about 116 PS and peak torque of about 250 NM, the car would be mated to a 6 Mt as well 6 At transmission . Beyond the update Kia is also working on a new EV version of the Carens ICE Model.
