Kawasaki is all set to unveil its latest adventure motorcycle for the global market. The new model will resurrect the iconic KLE moniker, which was first introduced back in 1991. Kawasaki had earlier teased the bike at EICMA 2024. A teaser video released a few weeks ago has now confirmed the official release date of the motorcycle.
The teaser video does not reveal the design of the motorcycle but does give a hint of its overall silhouette. It also confirms that the new KLE 500 will be officially unveiled on 24th October 2025.
What We know so far?
Kawasaki has kept the specs of the bike under wraps. However, the KLE 500 is expected to borrow its power unit from the Ninja 500, which uses a 451cc parallel-twin engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. If equipped with this engine, the bike would produce a peak power output of 45 hp and 42.6 Nm of torque.
We expect the bike to feature a low-mounted fender, steel box swingarm, 21-inch wheels with USD forks, and other adventure-oriented components. The rest of the details will likely be revealed on 24th October.
Kawasaki has not confirmed whether the bike will be launched in India. However, considering the growing adventure tourer segment in the Indian market, it is possible that the bike may be introduced as a CKD import. It will rival models like the Honda NX 500 and other bikes in the same category.
