MG has announced a major achievement after surpassing the 100,000 EV sales milestone in India – a testament to the brand’s growth in developing and designing clean, intelligent mobility solutions for a sustainable future through an intuitive, ecosystem-based approach.
According to MG, this milestone has been driven by the robust performance of the company’s EV portfolio, which caters to varied customer needs. The brand emphasizes its ability to blend luxurious indulgence with everyday practicality in every drive and has consistently evolved its lineup to include new energy powertrains.
JSW MG Motor India has emerged as one of the most prominent OEMs in the EV segment. The brand’s market share has grown steadily from 26% in CY2024 to 35% currently. This rising demand for EVs highlights how customers are increasingly ready to shift toward new mobility solutions as the market evolves.
At the celebratory event, MG showcased several initiatives promoting EV adoption – including campaigns highlighting real user experiences, the eHub by MG app (a one-stop solution for all charging needs), and the Battery-as-a-Service model, which simplifies EV ownership. Beyond that, MG also focused on battery recycling and repurposing, emphasizing second-life applications for used batteries.
