The Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition has been launched, a limited run special edition of Jeep’s flagship SUV in India. The car gets more features than the Grand Cherokee Limited (o) variant and costs close to about Rs 1.54 lakh mre. Premium prices fetch your premium features.
Here are a few of the premium features that the car would provide its users. In comparison to the already well equipped Grand Cherokee limited the Signature Edition would further provide the users with motorized side steps so its wasier to get in and out of the vehicle. The Rear passengers would get twin 11.6 inch android based infotainment touch screens that have inbuilt speakers that have built in speakers and Wi-Fi Bluetooth and Aux Compatibility. The Grand Cherokee Signature would also have integrated font and rear dash cams.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Powertrain
Mechanically the first gen Grand Cherokee is powered by a Sole 2.0 Liter , Four Cylinder engine which is able to produce 272 HP and a peak Torque of 400Nm. The Unit is mated to a 8 speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels Via Jeeps four wheel drive systems.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee competes against the other luxury vehicles in the segment such as the Volvo XC90, Range Rover Velar, Mercedes Benz GLE and Audi Q7 and BMW X5, do note that some of these are 5 seaters and Audi and Volvo can easily seat up to 7 people.
