New Delhi: American automaker Jeep’s new SUV Grand Cherokee, launched in India shortly before, has received a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP. The SUV gets a 2.0-L, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing 272hp power and 400Nm torque. It gets an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It gets a four wheel drive system, along with modes like Auto, Sport, Mud/Sand and Snow are also available in it.

Volkswagen Taigun gets 5 star safety rating
Talking about the safety rating, the Volkswagen Taigun has also received a 5 star safety rating from Global NCAP. Talking about its safety equipment, Taigun gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring, hill-hold control and multi-collision brakes.
