Jeep India has unveiled the all-new special edition variant of the Compass called the Track Edition. The prices of the new SUV are supposed to start from Rs 26.78 lakh. The Jeep Compass Track Edition will be available in limited numbers, and it will bring a few exterior and interior cosmetic updates over the top-spec S trim it will be based on. Bookings have commenced, and the new SUV will be available for immediate delivery.
What’s New with the Track Edition
The exteriors have been updated with a measly hood decal and new 18-inch tech grey alloy wheels with contrasting beige highlights. The interiors have been updated with all-new Tupelo Leatherette upholstery, smoke chrome finishes on the dashboard, and contrasting beige stitching. It also gets new Tupelo vinyl accents with embossed Jeep branding and Track Edition floor mats.
The equipment list remains the same. The Model S trim is fully loaded with features like a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, powered and ventilated front seats, an Alpine sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.

The Jeep Compass Track Edition commands a premium of Rs-30,000 – RS- 33,000 over the equivalent Model S variants.
Jeep Compass Track Edition Powertrain Options
All existing powertrain options with the Compass will be available with the new Track model. The special variant will be powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque, along with a 6-speed manual as well as a 9-speed automatic. The auto variant will also be available with a 4×4 system as well.
Before the recent edition, Jeep had also launched a Sandstorm Edition, and in July the brand had come up with a limited-run Tarsil Edition as well.
