New Delhi: Vehicle manufacturer Jeep has launched two of its cars Compass and Meridian in the Edition Club. The prices of these models have been kept Rs 1.08 lakh and Rs 2.35 lakh less than their existing standard model. The company will produce the Club Edition models of both these cars in limited numbers.
Jeep Compass Club Edition Design
The car looks similar to the current model. The car gets black finish on the roof, front grille, lower bumper area, fog lamp surround, skid plates and boot-lid along with wide 7-slot grille, LED headlights with DRLs, roof rails on the sides of the car, black -Out B-pillars, ORVM and designer 18-inch alloy wheels are also provided. The backside gets wrap-around LED taillights, shark-fin antenna and a window wiper.

Jeep Compass Club Edition Powertrain
Jeep has launched this car with only one powertrain. It is powered by a 1.4 L turbo-petrol engine that produces 163hp power and 250Nm torque. At the same time, for transmission in this car, the engine of the car has been paired with 6-speed manual (MT), 7-speed DTC and 9-speed automatic (AMT) gearbox.
Apart from this, auto climate control (ACC), electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, hill assist and panic brake assist are also available in this car.
Jeep Meridian Club Edition Design
The company has introduced this car with its signature design. The car gets LED headlamps, a chunky bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights, signature 7-slatted grille with LED fog lamps, panoramic sunroof on both sides body cladding, indicator-mounted ORVMs, all-door chrome finish and 18 inch Y-spoke alloy wheels have also been provided. As safety features, this car also has hill assist, electronic parking brakes and three drive modes (Snow, Sand and Auto).
Jeep Meridianclub edition power train
Jeep has also launched this car in only one powertrain, using a 2.0 L four-cylinder Multijet diesel engine. Which gives maximum power of 168 bhp and 350 Nm peak torque. Which is paired with 6-speed manual and 9-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.

Apart from this, the latest features like 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, multifunctional steering wheel, wireless charger, multi-zone climate control and fold function, air purifier are seen as interior features.
Price
The new Jeep Compass Club Edition has been launched by the company at Rs 20.99 lakh and the Club Edition of Jeep Meridian at Rs 27.75 lakh ex-showroom. These prices of both the vehicles are for February 2023 only.
