Suzu Motors Limited recently unveiled an enhanced Isuzu MU-X model in Thailand and intends to introduce it in more than 60 countries and regions globally.
This represents the initial significant product enhancement (facelift) following a complete model overhaul in 2020. The upgrade showcases a “Bold and Dynamic” exterior design, highlighted by the premium “RS” designation.
The front fascia, aluminum wheels, and lamps have undergone a redesign. New air curtains are now integrated into the front bumper of the MU-X. The exterior design includes black accents, along with a distinctive emblem on the front grille. Interior enhancements feature ambient lighting and foot lamps. Additionally, the instrument panel, seats, and door trim have been revamped.

Additional new features comprise a surround-view monitor system and a 7-inch TFT LCD integrated into the instrument panel. Enhanced safety functionalities utilize a next-generation stereo camera. Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (A-DAS) now include collision mitigation braking and reverse braking assist. To prevent fogging in cold conditions, the system automatically heats the windshield around the camera lens.
The international version of the Isuzu MU-X is equipped with a 3-liter diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine delivers 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque. In India, Isuzu continues to offer the previous generation MU-X, with no official confirmation regarding the introduction of the new generation model.
