New Delhi: The Italian luxury supercar maker has delivered the first MC20 supercar in India, which has been done in Mumbai. Interestingly, the MC20 which stands for Maserati Corse 2020 engine took 20 years to develop and make a comeback. The V6 engine used in it has been developed by a team at Maserati.
Maserati MC20 Price & Engine
The mid-engine mounted car was launched in March at a price of 3.69 crores. In which there is a 3.0l twin turbocharged V6 engine for power, which gives it 630hp power and 730Nm peak-torque. This engine is mated to an 8 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. This car is considered to be the successor to the MC12 from 2004.
Maserati MC20 Top-Speed
The car takes just 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h. On the other hand, if we talk about its top-speed, then this car is capable of catching a speed of 325 km/h. An attempt has been made to keep the weight of the car under 1.5 tonnes by using more carbon fiber and lightweight materials.
There are 5 driving modes GT, WET, SPORT, CORSA, and ESC OFF available in this sports car. Which can be easily accessed using the drive mood selector provided in its carbon fiber covered central console. As features in the cabin of the Maserati MC20, it has a 10-inch digital instrument display with a 10-inch touch screen infotainment system.
