The company has been planning to focus on Governments initiatives to promote bio fuel production from agricultural residue. Toyota plans to address multiple challenges, including air pollution from crop burning.
Bio Fuel Production From Agricultural Waste
Wheat straw as well as Sugar cane Bagasse have been used to produce bio fuel as per a recent report from the university of whitecastle. Its possible that Toyota might use similar renditions of research to bring in such Bio fuel conversion plants. Beyond the other uses such techniques would allow the farmers to have a second source of income beyond the usual sales. Crop wastes are converted to sugars and fermented into Ethanol. If such practices are adopted in India in a wholesome manner the new technologies can easily change the market dynamics with ease.
