Important news for Tata Sierra buyers: Full price details and step-by-step guide to book this latest SUV

Bookings for the Tata Sierra open on December 16, 2025, with deliveries starting January 15, 2026. Despite premium pricing, the SUV offers advanced features, multiple engine options, and manual and automatic transmissions to compete strongly in the segment.

In November 2025, Tata Motors launched the Sierra in India. At the time of launch, the company announced the price only for the base variant. Now, Tata Motors has revealed the complete price list of the SUV. Along with pricing details, there is another important update that buyers should be aware of.

Tata Sierra Price Details

The new Tata Sierra is available with three petrol engine options and comes in seven variants. Initially, the price of the base Smart Plus variant was announced at Rs 13.66 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Later, prices for the Pure to Adventure Plus variants were revealed, ranging from Rs 15.41 lakh to Rs 22.26 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Now, Tata Motors has also announced the prices for the top-end Accomplished and Accomplished Plus variants. These variants are priced between Rs 21.30 lakh and Rs 25.80 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Tata Sierra Bookings, Delivery Timeline and Key Features

Apart from the pricing, it is important to note that bookings for the Tata Sierra will open on December 16, 2025. While Tata Motors has not officially announced the booking amount yet, it is expected to be between Rs 11,000 and Rs 25,000. Deliveries of the SUV are scheduled to begin on January 15, 2026.

Features and Engine Options

Although the Sierra is priced at a premium compared to the segment leader, Hyundai Creta, it offers a long list of advanced features. These include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch co-driver display, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, Level 2+ ADAS, frequency-dependent dampers, and more.

The Tata Sierra is available with three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 106 bhp and 145 Nm, a 1.5-litre TGDi petrol engine delivering 158 bhp and 255 Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine generating 116 bhp and 280 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCA for the NA petrol, a 6-speed automatic for the TGDi petrol, and both 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes for the diesel variant.
