Hyundai has been working on a new-gen Hyundai Venue for some time now, the car will soon be unveiled equipped with a slew of new changes. We can expect a range of new features along with design changes that would bring the dated looks of the Hyundai Venue to sit right along with the new age design of other Hyundai cars in the line up such as the Hyundai Verna. While the car had been seen testing a few times before, in the recent sighting the car was seen being tested in South Korea.
New Design refresh
The New-Age Hyundai Venue would go through a complete new design change that would involve a front fascia redesign along with new head lamps and LEDs. It’s possible that the car might be given an LED strip that runs along its breadth with the headlamps positioned below the bonnet line. While the current Venue design seems reminiscent of the original look that the car was launched with, it seems that Hyundai wants to comprehensively renew the overall looks of the car and the new facelift would not be reminiscent of any of the older design cues.
While the car that was seen testing was under heavy camouflage, we could make out that the car would retain its compact SUV appeal. It seems that the car would be carrying over a few styling cues from some of the international models that are currently on sale such as the Hyundai Inster, with a slanting roofline along with roof rails.
The spy-shots that have been circulating over the internet have further revealed that the car would have a new set of rims that seem to have been specifically designed to reduce the aerodynamic drag.

Feature Upgrades
It’s possible that the top of the line variants get new features such as ventilated seats or adjustable second row seating as seen on the KIA Syros. The Upholstery options would be updated and users can expect ambient lighting experience. Beyond that the Hyundai Venue might be equipped with ADAS level two safety features ensuring that the new facelift would be able to score a 5-star adult occupancy safety rating.
Hybrid Powertrain?
Hyundai Venue would possibly be powered by the same engine options as that of a 83Ps, 1.2 Litre MPI petrol offered along with a 5- speed manual transmission. Beyond that the car might be offered with a 1.0 litre Turbo Petrol that generates 120Ps and has a transmission option of 6-speed manual and 7- speed DCT. Diesel Variants, if introduced, would possibly be using a 116Ps, 1.5 litre unit paired with a 6 speed manual transmission. It’s possible that the car might be launched with a Hybrid Powertrain as was expected with the Syros as well.
