Hyundai Mobis has recently showcased its newly developed technology that has the ability to be vigilant of several parameters that can showcase signs of bio signals related to the safety of the passenger in the vehicle. The New system allows the car to actively monitor posture actions, Bio signals and various other physical features such as drowsiness, mobile phone use to help reduce accidents.

Soon the company would be taking initiatives take full scale orders from global clients for this new technology. The Technology would be named Cabin Monitoring System, starting from this year.

How Does The System Works

The system consists of camera hardware that constantly notices several traits and collect data that helps is then analyze by onboard computers to channel out potential accident prone behavior. The first camera of the system detects posture and position and bio signals in real time. The system actively analyzes the data to issue warning to the driver in case of any potential risks and warnings. If in case a rider closes their eye off the vehicle might suggest that you should take a break.

The system recognizes 10 scenarios in which the driver would be notified with warning to help and save from further accidents and issues. The system easily recognizes actions such as smoking while driving, Taking hands of the steering wheel not wearing your seatbelt and leaving children un attended in the rear seat.

Hyundai Mobis has been targeting European Automakers with the new system and would soon be ramping up production to reach secure deals beyond Europe. As per the reports it has become apparent that DMS is mandatory in advanced markets with strict safety standards. Hyundai mobis is currently working on a new version of the same system where it would be working on new generation technology, beyond its previous focus on software logic.

While the contemporary systems that provide similar functionalities are driver oriented. The program that has been designed by Hyundai records and witnesses the reactions of all the passengers in the vehicle for a much more comprehensive safety of all the passengers while the car is mobile.
