Hyundai recently revealed the all-new Hyundai Venue ahead of its launch. The sub-4m SUV is set to be launched on November 4. In the run-up to the launch, the powertrain-wise variant lineup of the SUV has been revealed. Here’s a closer look at what’s known so far.
The new Venue features a refreshed exterior design with twin-horn LED DRLs, quad-beam LED headlamps, muscular wheel arches, and bridge-type roof rails. The SUV has been redesigned with taller and wider body dimensions than the outgoing model, giving it a more powerful and confident stance.

Stylish and Premium Interiors
The interior of the all-new Hyundai Venue is now called the “H-Architecture Cabin,” which reimagines the compact SUV experience. The dual-tone interiors, paired with a coffee-table-style center console and ambient lighting, create a warm and inviting cabin atmosphere.
A D-cut steering wheel and terrazzo-textured crash pad garnish add a distinctive touch of premium craftsmanship, enhancing the SUV’s contemporary appeal.
At the heart of the cabin sits a 62.5 cm dual curved panoramic display, combining both the infotainment system and the instrument cluster. This setup provides seamless connectivity and a truly tech-forward, premium environment.
Engine Options
The new Hyundai Venue will be offered with three engine options:
- Kappa 1.2 MPI Petrol
- Kappa 1.0 Turbo GDi Petrol
- U2 1.5 CRDi Diesel
Buyers can also choose from three transmission options — manual, automatic, and dual-clutch transmission (DCT) — ensuring a dynamic and flexible driving experience for every kind of driver.

Engine-wise variant lineup
The Kappa 1.0L Turbo GDI engine will be available from the base HX 2 trim, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) — an unusual move for this segment. The HX 6 and HX 10 trims will exclusively feature a 7-speed DCT, while the HX 5 and HX 8 trims will offer both MT and DCT options.
Next in line is the U2 1.5L CRDi diesel engine, offered with the HX 2, HX 5, HX 7, and HX 10 trims. A 6-speed MT will be available with HX 2 and HX 7, while HX 10 will only get a 6-speed automatic transmission (AT). The HX 5 trim, once again, stands out by offering both MT and AT choices. Notably, this diesel–AT combination is new and was not available in the current Venue lineup.
The HX 7 trim will be diesel MT only, whereas the HX 6T variant will feature a naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with an MT. Among all, the HX 5 trim emerges as the most versatile, offering the widest range of engine and gearbox combinations.
The leaked information also confirms that the 2026 Hyundai Venue will come equipped with traction modes (Sand, Mud, Snow) and drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport). Paddle shifters will be available with both AT and DCT transmission options.
