The Slowing pace of EV sales has brought auto manufacturers to reconsider their ambition for the overall EV production. Manufacturers have been trying to shift their focus to other non-conventional powertrain options for the vehicles. These would include EV’s or Hybrid or Hydrogen-powered drivetrains. Planning to march ahead the others in the new shift Hyundai has taken the initial step to establish a new nascent infrastructure. As a part of the Hydrogen Cooperation Network program designed to accelerate the Hydrogen Industry ecosystem, the manufacturer has been seeking to expand the Hydrogen market at the global level to South Korea and Japan.
Lawmakers To Further Help Establish a New Infrastructure
The lawmakers of the two-country decided to actively promote parliamentary support so that South Korea and Japan can lead cooperation in Building a global hydrogen-fueled society.
Lawmakers of the two countries South Korea and Japan could possibly establish themselves as stalwarts in the dynamic to build a global Hydrogen Society. The lawmakers from both countries would be seeking bilateral cooperation on
Unification of clean Hydrogen certification standards, standardization of Hydrogen charging technology. And beyond that compatibility of Hydrogen- related product certificates and Hydrogen production technology would be the key focus area.
As per Hyundai Korea as well as Japan would be able to harness the new system before anyone in the industry. This would further accelerate the establishment of a new Hydrogen industry ecosystem and lead to an expansion of the Hydrogen powered market at the global level.
The plans step beyond the establishment of new standards for the two countries only, Hyundai seeks to establish international standards for Hydrogen tech. And Beyond that the manufacturer ahs been planning to demonstrate hydrogen production technologies such as Ammonia cracking and further also introduce competitive Hydrogen related parts.
Upon its choice of country Hyundai reported that Korea and Japan are World’s best hydrogen technology. If the countries are able to tap a new innovations that can further facilitate easy establishment of Hydrogen infrastructure. Once such innovations witness a massive user base Hyundai might further expand its horizon to reach newer areas such as India.
