Hyundai: After CNG, now the demand for electric cars is increasing continuously. Analysing the demand, South Korean carmaker Hyundai has decided to make a big play in the segment. The company has recently launched an affordable CNG car Exter is now about to bring an electric version.
300 to 350 km in single charge
Some photos of the new Hyundai Exter EV are going viral on social media. According to media reports, this dashing car will run for about 300 to 350 km on a single charge. Currently, MG Comet EV is available in this segment at a Rs 7.98 lakh ex-showroom price.
It is estimated that Hyundai will launch it for Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom price range.
The car measures 3,815 mm in length
At present, the company has not made any disclosure about the powertrain of this new car. It is estimated that the company will get a battery pack with a capacity of about 30 kWh in this car. Currently, the length of the car which is present in the market is 3,815 mm.
2 month waiting period
This car was launched on 10th July. More than 50000 units of the car were booked within a month of launch. The car has a waiting period of more than two months. The starting price of the car is Rs 5.99 lakh ex-showroom in the market.
Vehicle has a sunroof and dashcam
Sunroof and dashcam have been given in the car. The Hyundai Exter is currently offered with a 5-speed manual and automatic transmission. According to media reports, the car will be launched in the year 2024. Currently, its testing is going on. Although the company has not yet shared any information about its launch date, price and delivery.
There are five trims available in the car. The petrol version of the car gives a mileage of up to 20 kmpl. For safety, the car has advanced features like 6 airbags, and rear parking sensors. The car is powered by a 1.2-litre engine, which produces 114 Nm of torque.
