Hyundai India has already launched their mass market EV for the Indian subcontinent. The Creta Electric would help the brand gain a grasp of the EV market in the Indian subcontinent. Beyond the launch Hyundai has pledged that it would soon launch a few more electric vehicles that would support the brands aim to diversify their EV line up and launch new vehicles.
As per a recent news report the Hyundai Santa Fe Plug in has been spotted testing in International markets. As per a spot by Healer Tv Hyundai has been seen testing the new prototype in the market. As per the leaks Hyundai has been planning to extend a new generation PHEV system. This system is capable of 62 miles per charge, Converted to the Indian System this would stand any where around 100 km.

Second Generation PHEV System
The Second Gen advanced system promises an range of about a 100 km. As per the brand the manufacturer has been planning to launch an impressive all electric range of 100 km. Since this is a Hybrid system its possible that the successful launch of the Hyundai Creta Electric would be followed by the new PHEV system that would allow the vehicle to complement its possible range with the help of an all electric range addition.
How Does Hyundai’s E-Phev System Works
As per Hyundai’s own publication this new system provides the users with the best of both worlds. A full electric driving range along with the usual range of a petrol engine. The system is quite similar to that of the Honda’s E:hev system , where the user can either switch to an all electric mode or use the petrol powered vehicle to drive about. Plus the normal drive is complement by the electric dive of the motors in the vehicle. Its while acceleration and up hill drive that the electric power of the batteries help the vehicle with quick response.
