New Delhi: South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor has increased the prices of its i20 hatchback in the country. This increase has been made up to Rs 21,500. The company has increased the prices of all the variants of this car.
How much has the price of Hyundai i20 increased?
Hyundai has increased the price of its i20 Turbo by Rs 21,500 and the N Line variant by Rs 16,500. The price of Magna and Sportz variants of this car has been increased by Rs 11,500. While the price of its Asta and Asta (O) variants has increased by Rs 16,600.
After this change in prices, the price of Hyundai i20 ex-showroom has now ranged between Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 11.68 lakh.

The prices of the N Line variant also increased
After the price hike, now the new price of the N6 iMT variant of Hyundai’s i20 N line has gone up to Rs 10.16 lakh. While its top-spec N8 DCT dual tone variant is available for Rs 12.27 lakh.
Hyundai i20 Turbo IMT Variant Discontinued
Apart from the price hike, the company has also discontinued the 6-speed iMT unit on the i20 Turbo variant. Now instead of this, the turbo variant will be introduced with dual-clutch (DCT) automatic transmission. iMT gearbox is available in the i20 N line.
How is the look of i20 N Line?
Talking about the look of the Hyundai i20 N Line, it will get a blacked-out grille, swept-back projector LED headlamps, red insert on the front splitter, wrap-around tail-lamps, diffuser, dual exhaust tips, side skirts, sculpted hood and N Line. Key badging is also available. Its side profile gets 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and ORVMs.

How is the engine?
There is a choice of two engines in the Hyundai i20. These include a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine with outputs of 83hp/114.7Nm and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with outputs of 120hp/172Nm. It gets 6-speed manual and CVT unit.
