Hyundai Exter: SUV car is in great demand in the Indian car market. In view of this, Hyundai is about to launch its new SUV Exter soon. Recently many of its pictures went viral on social media. It will get six airbags. It competes with Tata’s Punch in the compact SUV segment and Maruti Suzuki’s Swift in the hatchback segment.
Hyundai Exter: Engine and CNG
The company will give 1.2-liter petrol engine in Hyundai Exter. The special thing is that CNG version will also be available in it. This car will generate power of around 82 bhp and torque of 114 Nm. The car can get 5-speed manual and automatic transmission gearbox. Dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails will be available in this car. The contrasting black grille and faux silver skid plate make the car stand out from the rest.
Hyundai Exter: 5-seater stylish car
The length of the car is around 3.8 metres. At present, Hyundai has not made any disclosure about the price of this car. It is estimated that this car will be launched for less than Rs 10 lakh. It will fill the gap between the company’s Venue and Creta. The car will get five trims and it is a 5 seater stylish car. Its khaki color has already become the first choice of the youth. The car has a boxy look. It gets H-pattern LED daytime running lamps and comes with a split headlamp set.
Airbags and ADAS system
The starting price of Suzuki Swift is available at Rs 6 lakh ex-showroom. It has an engine of 1197 cc. In this, both petrol and CNG variants are available in the market. This Maruti car generates power up to 88.5 Bhp and gets both manual and automatic transmission. For safety, it has airbags, ADAS system which issues alerts when the speed is high, someone is too close to the car. It has a huge boot space of 318 L.
Punch Price, features
Tata Punch price starts from 6 Lakh to 9.47 Lakh ex-showroom. It has a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The length of the car is 3827 mm, width is 1742 mm. It gets two transmission options MT and AMT. Punch returns a mileage of 20.09 kmph in manual and automatic transmission. It gets features like projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, rain-sensing wipers, auto-fold ORVMs and IRA-connected car. It has 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
