The Hyundai Exter has been updated with two new trims that bring down new features from higher trims, the variants would get a slew of new features from the higher trims along with additional optional equipment. The new variants are called S smart and SX smart; these new trims are priced from Rs 7.69 lakh and Rs 8.16 lakh respectively and both petrol and CNG powertrains are available.
Here’s How The Hyundai Exter gets S Smart And SX Smart Trims
Based on the existing S trim, the new S smart variant comes equipped with a single pane sunroof which was previously available in the S+ priced from the Rs 7.39 lakh. Other notable features that the car would be equipped with would include LED daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps, TPMS, 15- Inch steel wheels and rear AC Vents.

Exeter Sx Smart: What’s New ?
The additions on the Sx trim would include a keyless entry with push button start stop feature. Beyond that the car has also been equipped with projector headlamps, rear parking camera, leatherette seats upholstery and a shark fin antenna.

New Optional Equipment Options
On both of these trims, customers would be able to opt for a 9.0 inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Users can also opt for a wireless Apple car play and android auto , along with a rear camera for Rs 14,999. These would be genuine Hyundai accessories on which Hyundai would be willing to provide 3 years of warranty. Further Hyundai has also made ISOFIX anchor points standard on Exter.
Hyundai Exter Powertrain Options
The Exter is powered by a 83hp, 114 Nm, 1.2 liter, four Cylinder petrol Engine that offered with both the 5 speed manual as well as AMT gearboxes. In the CNG spec the vehicle is capable of producing 69 HP and 95.2 Nm of Torque and is only offered wit a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car is also equipped with a new dual cylinder CNG cylinder setup.
