Hyundai Exter: Compact SUV cars are very much in trend in the Indian car market these days. Recently, Hyundai has introduced its attractive car Exter in this segment. The special thing about this car is that for the first time in India, the feature of dash cam is available in a car.

Super Features

Dash cam is a type of camera that records front and rear video of the car through a memory card. This is very helpful in preventing car theft and road accidents. The starting price of Hyundai Exter comes at Rs. 5.99 lakh ex-showroom price. Its top variant is available at Rs 9.32 lakh ex-showroom.

Engine

The car has a 1.2-liter engine, which generates 82 bhp power and 114 Nm torque. The Hyundai Exter is offered in five trims EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O). The length of the Hyundai Exter car is around 3,815 mm.

Speed & Stability

Hyundai Exter will give a mileage of 18 to 20 kmpl. It will get 5-speed manual and automatic transmission gearbox. For safety in the car, features like ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, hill start assist, electronic stability control and rear parking sensors have been provided.

ABS: Works & Benefits

ABS technology reduces the risk of accidents. This system runs from the wheel sensor. Those who sense harsh road conditions activate the ABS. In this, sudden braking during an accident gives the driver more time to control the vehicle than the normal braking system. The sensor automatically engages the anti-lock brakes. When the wheels of a vehicle lock up when the brakes are applied, there is a possibility of the vehicle skidding dangerously on the road surface (especially on wet surfaces).

Lock-up and skidding

ABS is activated in case of tire slip. This prevents lock-up and skidding in slippery conditions. Using ABS is very different from using regular brakes. If you are braking normally at a stop sign, red light or slow-moving vehicles ahead of you, the ABS system will not activate. The ABS will automatically get activated when the brakes are applied suddenly at high speeds.

Tough Competition in Market

Attractive color options have been offered in the car. Split headlamp set-up has been given in the car. It has a contrasting black grille and faux silver skid plate. In the market, this car competes with Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Maruti Suzuki Fronx.

Safety reminder in car

The car has features like 3-point seat belts and seatbelt reminder. Hyundai launched its cheapest sub compact SUV on 10th July. So far, booking of more than 16 thousand units of the car has been done.

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
