Hyundai Exter: India’s second leading car manufacturer Hyundai revealed the name of its upcoming SUV on Friday. The company announced the name of this new SUV, Exter, in a social media post. According to car analysts, this vehicle will compete in the market with the Tata Punch.

Hyundai Exter is predicted to be the most affordable SUV after Hyundai’s Venue. SUV vehicles are in high demand in the Indian market. This is why Hyundai plans to release two more SUV models by the end of the year. The company has not yet disclosed the price, appearance, or delivery date of the Hyundai Exter.

“We are proud to announce the name of our new SUV Hyundai EXTER, which will cater to the needs of new generation buyers with smart mobility,” said Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd. He went on to say that the Hyundai EXTER is the eighth model in the Hyundai lineup with an SUV body design.

According to reports, the Hyundai EXTER will seat five people. It is equipped with a 1.2-litre engine. This engine produces 82bhp and 114Nm of torque. It will have a 5-speed manual and an automatic powertrain. It will be about 3.8 metres long. It is expected that this car will cost less than Rs 10 lakh.
