Hyundai Exter: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced to launch its latest Exter SUV in India on July 10. The company has already out the look, design and other features of the upcoming SUV. The auto manufacturer has revealed more details about the SUV’s interiors. Colour options
The SUV will come in 6 monotone exterior paint shades – Atlas White, Cosmic Blue, Fiery Red, Starry Night, Titan Grey, and the new-for-Hyundai Ranger Khaki. The Exeter will also be offered in three dual-tone color options based on Atlas White, Cosmic Blue and Ranger Grey.
Hyundai Exter features
It will be equipped with a 8-inch HD touchscreen and an advanced digital cluster with 4.2-inch colour TFT MID along with Hyundai Bluelink. The infotainment unit will sport an in-built navigation and smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. While the digital cluster will a host of information related to drive statistics, TPMS (highline), Parking Distance, Door Open, Sunroof Open, 10 Regional + 2 Global languages as well as seatbelt reminder display for all seats.
Engine
It will be powered by 1.2L Kappa petrol engine (E20 fuel ready) and will be available with 5-speed manual transmission (5MT) and Smart Auto AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) versions. Hyundai has also said that a CNG version of the small SUV will also be available.
Design
Hyundai Exter will also be equipped with convenience features such as cruise control. The SUV will have a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and height of 1,631 mm. The front of this upcoming car from Hyundai has a parametric front grill. It includes features like H-signature LED DRLs, projector headlamps and sporty skid plates. The dynamic side is highlighted with diamond cut alloy wheels housed in blacked out wheel arches. The most important thing is that the floating roof design is also there in Hyundai EXTER.
Hyundai Exter: Price
The Hyundai EXTER will be offered in five variants, including EX, S, SX, SX(O) and the top-spec SX(O) Connect trims. As per the report, the Hyundai EXTER is expected to be launched in August this year and its price is expected to start from Rs.6 lakh.
Rival cars
Hyundai Exter will compete with already existing cars like Tata Punch, Maruti Fronx, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite after coming into the market.
