Hyundai Creta’s New King And King Limited Edition Trims Launched With Premium Features

Hyundai has marked 10 years of the Creta in India by launching the feature-packed Creta King and King Limited Edition trims, offering new luxury features, blacked-out styling, and select petrol and diesel powertrain options.

On the occasion of the Hyundai Creta completing 10 years in the Indian market, the Korean carmaker has launched two new trims – Creta King and Creta King Limited Edition – packed with more features. The ex-showroom prices of these new top-of-the-line trims start from ₹17.89 lakh. Hyundai has also rolled out additional features across the regular trim levels of the Creta and Creta N Line.

What’s New With The Hyundai Creta King

The King denotes a foray into a world of opulence. Buyers will be greeted with larger 18-inch alloys, a memory function for the powered driver’s seat, 8-way powered adjustment for the front passenger seat, dual-zone AC, a dashcam, a sliding front armrest with storage, and a King emblem.

Hyundai has also equipped the SUV with a retractable seatback table, a front passenger seat with boss mode functionality, and the touch-based HVAC panel borrowed from the Alcazar. Moreover, these variants will feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, although via a wired-to-wireless adapter.

All five powertrain options of the Creta are available: the new 115 hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 6-speed MT or CVT gearbox; the 116 hp, 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT; and the 160 hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT.

Similar to the Knight Edition, the Creta King also gets blacked-out exterior and interior styling, though powertrain options here are limited to petrol-CVT and diesel-AT.

Additionally, Hyundai has launched a Limited Edition trim called the King Limited Edition. Over the regular King variants, this gets a seatbelt cover, headrest cushions, new carpet mats, a key cover, and additional door cladding.

The King Limited Edition will only be available with two powertrain options – the 115 hp, 1.5-litre petrol CVT and the 116 hp, 1.5-litre diesel AT – with three colour choices: Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Black Matte.
