Hyundai Creta EV is one of the most anticipated vehicles at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Being in the final run of pre-production run tests the car was witnessed being tested By ARAI recently in Pune. The new EV Creta would have a three spoke steering wheel rather than the old flat-bottomed steering wheel that was available with the old Creta. The badging of the vehicle would be different than the current ICE Version.

The car would have premium features like a 10.25 inch infotainment display, a panoramic sunroof as well as ventilated seats. The gear selector of the EV version is said to be similar to that of the Ioniq 5 with a rotary dial for the for mode selection and traction settings.

Hyundai has huge expectations from the launch of this vehicle. This would be the first mass market attempt by Hyundai to pitch in a affordable EV in the Indian market. The brand has already been in the news with its EV launches such as he IONIQ 5 which won the green car of the year award as well. The EV is expected to borrow a lot of styling cues from the ICE variant of the Creta.
The vehicle would have a new façade with a EV spec grill that is a stand out feature of all EV vehicles. The vehicle would have a similar interior as that of the normal Creta, a new EV spec steering wheel along with new aero wheels. The car would have the same power train as that of the Kona EV, a 48 KWH battery pack that delivers a optimum output of 134 BHP and a peak torque figure of 255 NM. With the powertrain the car would have a driving Range of around 355km.
