Hyundai has unveiled its new Creta EV. The vehicle marks Hyundai’s attempt at pitching a affordable EV vehicle for the mass market. Although Hyundai has not yet revealed and specs of the different variants that the different vehicles would have its possible that the different variants would have differences in features and fast charging capabilities.

Hyundai Creta Electric Range Compared

The Hyundai Creta would be powered by a 51.4 KWH battery pack. The car would be able to have a range of around 473 km on a single full charge. The vehicle would be able to do a sprint of 0 to a 100 in just 7.9 seconds. Here are the details about other EV vehicles available in the market as of yet.

Mahindra BE-6

Mahindra BE6 comes equipped with a electric motor that makes 282 bhp and close to 380 Nm of Torque. The car would have a rear wheel drive layout with battery pack options such as a 59KWH and a 79 KWH battery packs. Both the different variants would have varying ranges of around 500 km on as ingle full charge. The Hyundai Creta Electric’s range is quite lesser than that of the Mahindra BE-6

Mahindra XEV-9

As quoted by Mahindra the XEV-9 would have a driving range of around 500 km’s on a single charge. Beyond that the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to a100 Km/h in just 6.7 seconds. To ensure that the vehicle does good against the competitors Mahindra has plans to give the vehicle with a three screen layout with 12.3 inch high res displays. And if that is not all the vehicle would also have level 2 ADAS safety features that would allow the vehicle to have features such as crash avoidance system as well as Collison warning systems as well. The Be-6 that is the other launch by Mahindra would have the same 500km range from a single charge.

Tata Curvv EV

The Tata Curvv EV is available with Two battery packs one being the 45KWH battery pack as well as a 55kwh battery pack. The range of the 55 kwh battery pack is around 502 km, and an acceleration time of 8.6 to reach from 0 to a100 kmh. The car would have a 123 PS of power with a peak torque of 215 NM.

The 45 KWH variant would have a range of about 430km and a acceleration from 0 to a100 in 9 seconds. The power of the vehicle is around 110/150 PS with a peak torque of around 215 M. Both the vehicles have multi drive modes. Namely Eco, City and Sport. To further increase the usability of the vehicle Tata has provided the vehicle with a vehicle to load technology as well as a Vehicle to vehicle charging capacity as well. Compared to the Hyundai Creta EV the Tata Curvv has a little extra range.

MG Windsor
