New Delhi: Hyundai Motors may launch its micro SUV Hyundai Casper in India this year, which will compete with the segment’s best-selling Tata Punch as well as Citroen C3, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kyger and Maruti Ignis. The Hyundai Casper was unveiled in the global market last year and is now eagerly awaited in the Indian market as well. Actually, given the way Tata Punch has captured the market, the Casper can also be launched soon. In the coming time, an official statement can be issued by Hyundai India regarding the Casper launch.

Talking about the platform and power of Hyundai Casper, this micro SUV is 3595 mm long, 1595 mm wide and 1575 mm high, it has been developed on the K1 compact car platform. This small SUV from Hyundai will be powered by a 1.1 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will be able to generate power of up to 69 PS. Along with this, there will also be a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will be able to generate power up to 82 PS. This micro SUV can be offered in 5-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
Great look and features
Talking about the look and features of Hyundai Casper, this SUV will get round shape headlamps, LED DRLs, aggressive bumpers, silver finish skid plate, wide air dam as well as dual tone roof tails, squarish wheel arches, multi spoke alloy wheels and all-round. Black plastic cladding will be seen. The SUV will come with dual tone interiors as well as standard and safety features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, connected car technology, reverse parking camera, multifunctional steering wheels, dual airbags, keyless entry, adjustable handrests. Will be Hyundai Casper can be launched in India in the price range of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9 lakh.
