Honda Elevate Features: The market for small SUVs is expanding quickly. This is the rationale behind why so many businesses have suddenly entered this market. Honda has also done something similar. To reclaim its former position, Honda has now played its strongest hand. Two days ago, the business unveiled Elevate, a small SUV. The business will now begin taking reservations for this car in July, and it will be introduced to the market around Diwali. It appears to be challenging for cars like the Nexon, Grand Vitara, Creta, and Seltos now that this automobile has arrived.
With the Elevate, Honda has likewise spared no expense, and it has been outfitted with so many features that no other vehicle will be able to compete with it. In Elevate, the company has given the feature of ADAS with emergency braking, which will automatically stop the car after sensing any crisis. The first vehicle with this technology on the compact SUV market is the Elevate. In addition to this, the Elevate has numerous other characteristics that will aid Honda in regaining its damaged reputation.
Great ground clearance
Elevate includes all the characteristics of a full-size and compact SUV. A large bar grille is added to the car, giving it a powerful appearance. Along with this, there is a unit of sleek tail lamps on the back side. The car has a ground clearance of 4.2 metres and is 1.62 meters high and 1.79 meters wide. Its 220 mm-or-so ground clearance is its most notable characteristic.

Petrol engine only
As the Honda Elevate was built on the chassis of the Honda City, there was earlier debate regarding the possibility of including a hybrid option in the vehicle. And now the hybrid engine has been given in Honda City but it did not happen. The Honda City and Elevate both currently use the same petrol engine. It will get a 1.5-litre petrol engine which will generate power of 121 bhp. At the same time, the car will produce a torque of 150-newton meters. The car will get the option of 6-speed manual transmission and CVT gearbox.
Luxurious interior
The business provided a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system for Elevate. Along with this, there is a TFT screen in the instrument cluster colour HD which is 7 inches. Wireless smart integration is another feature that will make it simple to connect to Alexa. At the same time, many safety features like 6 airbags, adaptive cruise control, lane watch, hill hold assist, and lane keep assist will also be available in it. The launch date and price have not yet been published by the corporation. However, it is anticipated that Elevate will start at roughly Rs. 8 lakh. However, the market entry price of its top form is anticipated to be approximately 15 lakhs.
Electric too soon
The Honda City’s petrol engine and the Elevate were just introduced by the firm. But according to the business, Elevate’s electric avatar will also be introduced to the market within the next three years. If this happens, it will be a direct challenger to the Nexon EV. With this, it will already become a threat to the upcoming electric variants of the Creta.
