Honda Elevate: Honda India announces that Elevate SUV price will be revealed on September 4 after its launch in the Indian market. The Honda car will compete with SUVs like Creta and Seltos. It will also give competition to  Honda City and Amaze sedans. Booking for the SUV started with a minimum deposit of Rs 21,000. 

The SUV ‘Honda Elevate’ has been introduced in 7 monotones and 3 dual-tone color options. It will be available in variants, such as  SV, V, VX, and ZX.

Hybrid powertrain will not be available

It was being speculated that this SUV would get a hybrid powertrain like Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara and Toyota’s Hirider, but the Honda Elevate SUV is not being introduced in the hybrid powertrain.

Honda Elevate will come with advanced features like an electric sunroof, wireless charging pad, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6 airbags, a blind-spot monitor, and Honda Sensing ADAS.

Generates 145 Nm torque

The SUV will have a single 1.5-liter petrol engine, which will generate 119bhp and 145 Nm of peak torque. Customers will have the option to choose between a 6-speed manual and a CVT unit. According to Honda, the manual variant returns a claimed mileage of 15.31kmpl, while the CVT variant returns an ARAI-tested mileage of 16.92kmpl.

Honda Elevate is scheduled to be launched next month and will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq.
