Honda Shine 125: Honda has launched an updated version of its powerful bike Honda Shine 125. The special thing is that in order to beat other two-wheeler manufacturers in the motorcycle market, Honda is offering new features and 10 years warranty with this new bike.
Powerful engine
Honda Shine 125 will be available in the market at a very affordable price of Rs 79,800 thousand ex-showroom. The new Real Driving Emission (RDE) compliant bike is powered by an OBD2-compliant 125cc PGM-FI engine. This engine is equipped with Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology.
Top speed
The central government has mandated OBD2-compliant engines for two-wheelers in India. After which vehicle manufacturers are updating their vehicles with the new on-board diagnostic system (OBD2-A) and launching them in the market. This engine is a high performance engine, which gives a top speed of 93 km/h.
Warranty benefits
The Dhansu engine of Honda Shine 125 will generate power of 10.3 hp and torque of 11 Nm. Currently two variants have been introduced in the market. As per the information, the 10-year warranty package means 3 years standard + 7 years optional extended warranty. The company is giving you the benefit of a combined warranty of up to 10 years for the bike.
Colour options
The company has introduced Honda Shine 125 in the market in attractive five color options Black, Genie Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Grey, Rebel Red Metallic and Decent Blue Metallic. It will get 5 speed gearbox. The bike will get halogen headlamp, start/stop engine switch and analog speedometer with fuel gauge.
Wheels & Disc brakes
The bike has 18-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. For a comfortable ride, the bike gets telescopic forks at the front and five-step adjustable hydraulic-type rear shock absorber suspension at the rear. The bike has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
