Honda has been a formidable two wheeler manufacturer in India, their products such as the Activa have been able to provide easy and affordable mobility to many. To upkeep their presence as a favored manufacturer Honda seems to be in the pursuit of launching its new NPF125. Beyond that the brand would also be bringing in a slew of electric vehicles in the future.
Honda has seemingly patented a few new products such as the Honda NPF 125. Here are a few of the features and specs of the alleged yet to release Honda NPF 125.
Honda NPF Styling And Features
The NPF 125 has a completely different styling than any of the existing models in the Honda Line up. The vehicle has a aggressive front fascia with dual headlamps as well as a new aggressive body design. Some of the other changes that the scooter has would include projector styled housings with turn signals, along with a unique upswept exhaust that is quite unlike any of the scooters in the range.
Since Honda has not yet revealed any of the details about the scooter, some of the visual changes that appear are flat floor board, with indicators that have been integrated into the front fascia of the scooter. As it appears the scooter would have disc brakes up front with possible drum brakes at the rear.
Performance Specs
The Honda NPF 125 would be powered by a 124 cc single cylinder, air cooled engine that generates 9.51 Ps and 10 NM torque. Fuel efficiency of the vehicle is rated at around 50 kmpl which could be a major selling point for the scooter. The scooter would be able tor each a max speed of 90 km/h. The over all fuel holding capacity of the scooter would be around 5.7 liters. Considering that the overall range of the scooter would be around 300 km on a full tank.
The Scooter would have a 12 inch front and a 10 inch rear wheel. Its possible that being a premium offering the scooter would be offered with ABS and disc brakes with the higher variant. As per a few news reports the scooter has been patented in India but its launch still seems to be a bit dicey. If launched the new scooter would compete against the likes of TVS Ntorq, Yamaha Fascino, and Hero Zoom 125.
