Honda Motorcycle & Scooter Sales Jump 21% In October, Reach 5,97,711 Units – Check Other Details

During April to October 2024, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India sold a total of 3,756,088 units, including 3,434,539 domestic sales and 321,549 exports.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) saw a significant year-over-year (YoY) growth in total sales, with October 2024 numbers reaching 597,711 units. This is 21% up from 492,884 units in the same month last year. The latest sales figure of the company comprise 553,120 units sold domestically and 44,591 units exported.

“Continuing the year on a high note with positive momentum and double-digit growth in the festive month, the overall dispatches for Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India stood at 5,97,711 units in October, registering a 21% year-on-year (YoY) growth. This includes domestic sales of 5,53,120 units and 44,591 units’ exports,” said the company.

The company reported a 20% YoY increase in domestic sales, rising to 553,120 units in October from 462,747 units in the same month last year. On the other hand, the exports grew by a massive 48% during the month over the same period of last year.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter Sales: Other Details

During April to October 2024, HMSI sold a total of 3,756,088 units, including 3,434,539 domestic sales and 321,549 exports. HMSI achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 1 crore cumulative two-wheeler sales in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Chhattisgarh. HMSI has notably experienced consistent growth in the Indian market since its inception in 2001, marked by the debut of the iconic Activa.

Notably, HMSI achieved 50 lakh sales in the central India region by 2017 and has since doubled its sales to surpass 1 crore in less than seven years.
