Honda EM1: Honda changed the game in the e-scooter segment. The company has introduced its powerful electric scooter Honda EM1. At present, the driving range and battery pack of this new Honda scooter have been unveiled. However, the company has not made any disclosure about its price yet. Driving range
According to media reports, the Honda EM1 e-scooter will run for about 48 km once fully charged. It is an urban mid segment scooter. Which has just been introduced in Europe in the global market. It is expected to arrive in the Indian market soon. For safety, Combined Braking System (CBS) has been given in both its wheels, in this braking system, the tire gets more time to stop when the rider suddenly brakes.
Performance
This is the scooter of the company’s electric moped segment. Due to which it is estimated that it will be sold at an affordable price. This is the entry level EV of the company. It is a low range electric scooter with a hub mounted motor. It will be given a 1.7 kW high performance battery pack. A mode has been given in it which will help in controlling the speed.
Battery
In Honda EM1, the company has given mobile power swappable lithium ion battery. Due to which it is also capable of lifting heavy loads. Its battery weighs 10 kg. It is a light weight e-scooter, which will make it easy to drive and control on the road. Its battery gets fully charged in six hours.
Tire and disc brake
Attractive colour options have been given in the e-scooter. It has been given black colour combination in white color. It has 12-inch tires at the front and 10-inch tires at the rear, which provide strong grip on the road. The scooter has a 190 mm disc brake on the front wheel and a 110 mm drum brake at the rear. Which helps the rider to control it.
