New Delhi: Honda is about to introduce its most important new product mid-size SUV Elevate for India on June 6, 2023. The company has been releasing teasers of the Elevate SUV for some time now. Official bookings for the car will also open on the occasion of its official global debut.
Honda Elevate booking
Talking to a Honda dealer, it has been learned that existing Honda customers who already own a WR-V or a SEAT are inquiring more about the Elevate SUV. Some dealers have also started taking bookings unofficially. Whose booking amount is between Rs 11,000 to Rs 21,000.
Design
The Elevate SUV will share its powertrain with the City, which has styling that is not similar to any other Honda SUV currently sold overseas. The Elevate has been designed keeping India in mind and its simple styling can be seen from the flat nose grille to the glasshouse and roofline. Indian buyers don’t like the overly rounded coupe, so it has been designed like an SUV.
The styling of Honda Elevate will be top class, while many new features can be included in it. It will get many segment first features along with sunroof. It will compete with almost every other contender except Seltos, Tigun and Kushaq. The Kushaq gets a large panoramic sunroof. The Seltos facelift, which will go on sale in the coming months, will also feature a panoramic sunroof. Although there is not much information about the features of the Elevate, but it is likely to get almost all the features except ventilated seats. This is an important launch in the SUV segment in the country.
Honda Elevate Powertrain
It will be offered with a single 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated engine, similar to the Honda City sold in India, with a hybrid system likely to be added to the line-up later. This petrol engine generates 121hp power and 145Nm torque. It will get the option of manual or CVT automatic.
When will Honda launch
According to sources, the delivery of the Honda Elevate is being promised by the end of August, while the price will be announced at the time of its launch. This car will compete with Hyundai Creta, which sells the most in the segment.
