New Delhi: Renowned automaker Honda has started bookings for its upcoming SUV, Elevate, at a token amount of Rs. 21,000. The prices of the Elevate will be revealed in September. According to AutoCar India, the Honda Elevate will be available in four trims – SV, V, VX, and ZX, similar to the trims offered in the Honda City sedan. Let’s take a look at the special features of each variant.
Honda Elevate (SV):
The base SV variant of the Elevate will offer features such as LED projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, beige fabric upholstery, 16-inch steel wheels, and dual-front airbags. However, this variant is unlikely to have a touchscreen infotainment system.
Honda Elevate (V):
The V variant will include an 8.0-inch touchscreen with four speakers, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, rear-view camera, and steering-mounted controls. This trim will also come with a CVT automatic gearbox.
Honda Elevate (VX):
The feature-loaded VX variant will offer a single-pane sunroof, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails, a 7.0-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, lane watch camera, wireless charger, auto-folding wing mirrors, LED fog lamps, and a 6-speaker sound system. Additionally, it will be available with a LED brown upholstery and a Phoenix Orange color option, exclusive to the ZX variant. Dual-tone color options will also be available.
Honda Elevate (ZX):
The fully loaded top-of-the-line ZX variant will come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, six airbags, Honda Sensing ADAS suite, eight speakers, leather brown upholstery, soft-touch dashboard, and auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror. The Elevate will also be available with dual-tone color options.
Powertrain of Honda Elevate:
The Elevate will be equipped with a naturally aspirated four-cylinder, 1.5-liter petrol engine that generates 121hp of power and 145Nm of torque. It will be available with either a 6-speed manual or an optional 7-step CVT gearbox.
Competition:
After its launch, the Elevate will compete against cars such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and MG Aster. In terms of pricing, the Elevate is expected to be priced between INR 11 lakh to INR 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
