Honda Motorcycles have Launched the new 2025 CB650R as well as the CBR650R middle weight motorcycle bikes in India, Again. The brand used to sell both these bikes in India before as well but moved away from it in the recent past. But the growing enthusiast market in India seems to have encouraged the manufacturer to launch the bikes again.
The Honda CB650R the naked street fighter version of the bike is being sold at Rs 9.20 lakh Rs and Beyond that The 2025 CBR650R which is the fully faired sport tourer the bike would be launched at Rs 9.99 lakh. The bookings for the new bikes have been started and the bike would be sold in India through the Honda Big Wing Dealerships.
What’s New With the Honda CB 650R
The bike has gotten several updates before being introduced again in India. While the bike has the same styling as before the new changes include new tank extensions that look like air intakes and beyond that the rear tail section of the bike has been revised as well for a new and more sharper look. The new bike would have a 5 – inch TFT display along with Bluetooth connectivity as well.
Performance Specs
The bike would be powered by the same 649 cc inline four cylinder engine that has been tuned for 93.8 bhp @12,000 rpm. The bikes motor has been paired to a 6 speed manual gearbox that helps the bike reach a peak torque of 63 nm @ 9,500 rpm. The bike has 310 mm floating discs at the front and a a 240 mm rear disc with dual channel ABS for enhanced safety.
CBR650R: What’s New ?
The bikes has similar looks to that of the CBR-1000 RR Fireblade. The bike gets the full fairing that is missing on the CB 650. The bike has very different styling than its predecessor that was sold in India before. The bike now has a more angular fairing along with an more sporty look.
CBR650R Performance Specs
The bike would be powered by the same 649 cc liquid cooled inline four cylinder engine as the CBR650R. The Bike has a max power output of 93.8 bhp @ 12,000 rpm and 63 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The bike would be paired to a 6 -speed gearbox with a slipper clutch to help the rider while riding in traffic.
Other parts of the bike include 41 mm USD forks with a monoshock at the rear. The bike has similar braking credentials as that of the CB650. The bike has a dual channel ABS and Honda’s special torque control as well. The bike would have similar 5- inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
