Honda Cars India is all set to launch the third-generation Amaze on December 4, 2024. This highly anticipated compact sedan will feature a plenty of cosmetic updates, including a new design language, double-beam LED headlamps, and a sportier theme. Honda has recently revealed a design sketch of its upcoming third-generation Amaze, which is set to rival the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
The car will feature a refreshed exterior, revamped interior, and ample of exciting new features. The Honda will keep Amaze as a petrol-only sedan, claimed media reports. The existing model of Amaze has 1.2-litre petrol that generates 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. The company offers Amaze with a five-speed manual and a CVT transmission.
The new Honda Amaze will have a bigger touchscreen entertainment system (possibly 8 inches), similar to the one in the Honda City. The new Honda Amaze is expected to feature several cabin upgrades, including fresh upholstery colour options, wireless charging capability, and semi-digital driver display. The upcoming Honda Amaze may also feature a single-pane sunroof to stay competitive with the Maruti Dzire.
The upcoming Amaze is expected to be priced near Rs 7 lakh, positioning it in competition with the Hyundai Aura, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, and Tata Tigor.
New Honda Amaze – What We Know About It’s Rival Maruti Dzire?
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire was recently caught on camera sans disguise, unveiling its sleek and modern exterior recently. Maruti is set to launch Dzire’s next-gen model on November 11 with bookings now open with Rs 11,000. The next-gen Dzire is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine which will produce 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque.
The Dzire will also have exciting new features including, 9-inch floating touchscreen display, updated steering wheel, electric sunroof, and 4.2-inch digital multi-information display (MID) among others.
