With a substantial figure of 218,856 units sold last month, it solidified its position at the forefront of the market. Following behind, TVS Jupiter secured the second spot with sales of 91,824 units, proving to be a strong contender in the petrol scooter segment.
Honda Activa 6G
The Activa 6G boasts a 109.51 cc engine and offers a starting price of Rs 76,234 (ex-showroom). Equipped with drum brakes, this scooter delivers a power output of 8.84 PS and comes in five different variants. Weighing 105 kg, it promises easy handling on the road and provides a torque of 8.90 Nm. With a spectrum of eight color options, it caters to diverse preferences among buyers.
TVS Jupiter
TVS Jupiter, priced at Rs 73,340 onwards (ex-showroom), packs a punch with its 7.88 PS power output. Featuring drum brakes on both front and rear wheels, this scooter presents a range of six variants, including a top model available for Rs 89,748 (ex-showroom). Boasting 16 color choices, a 109.7 cc engine, and tubeless tires, it stands as a high-end option in the market.
Suzuki Access 125
With four variants and a palette of 16 color options, the Suzuki Access 125 caters to versatility. Sporting a 124 cc engine and a 5-liter fuel tank, it offers 8.6 bhp power and a mileage of 46 kmpl. Weighing 103 kg and featuring a seat height of 773 mm, this scooter begins at Rs 82,201 (ex-showroom). It comes with a combined braking system, offering both drum and disc options to consumers.

As per the sales figures for October 2023, the competition among these scooters remains robust, with the TVS Ntorq and Honda Dio also making their mark in the market with respectable sales of 34,476 and 32,385 units, respectively.
